FAScists anyone?

Friday, July 25, 2008

1:33 AM

What do they really achieve by engaging themselves in such jobless pseudo-revolutionary animated state? Funny thing is he-who-shall-not-be-named tried to scare off an affected birdy by giving brief yet surprisingly personal details of birdy…HWSNBN has attained a state of voyeuristic “third limb”…heightened release of testosterone…like Agent Smith of the film The Matrix whining about how the system knew about Neo helping out the landlady carrying out her garbage…as if that would knock off anyone…beh!

It’s how obsessed lovers try to woe their lady love by creepily calling her up at night and take her by surprise by being able to say about the pink bra or the gooey thong she’s wearing!

And the birdy…oh the damn Sci-FI birdy…she is equally lady-who-doesn’t-know-anything…a scared crow, as opposed to a scare-crow…don’t the fascists realize that the existence of sci-fi is necessary for their very own reactionary existence? Why do they want no sci-fi existing after all? Pretty stupid fascists I must say…Them and their interminable platter of avant-garde political or in other words plain muscle engagements…correction: skeletal muscles to be precise…since they seem to lack cardiac muscles, which only operate CONVENIENTLY in a polygamous manner…(e.g. dwarf falling for a dwarf, then an invalid hero, then someone who deserves much better than the dwarf, and finally with a giant, till date)…

Now you see the squat woman conspiring and walking with he-who-shall-not-be-named on and off, punctuated by cameo appearance of she-who-shall-not-be-named…all harmless, harmless-political in nature…right?

I boycott them et al…them and anti-them equally...two sides of the same coin.

Claimer: FAScists…yeah that’s right…the FAS in JU…and sci-fi…the SFI that you see mushrooming everywhere…

…A woman’s tale…or better still, a hobbit’s tale…Breathless that I am after whatever that has happened to me in the last 4 weeks, I am now in a state of finding “Roti-kapra-aur-makan”…yes Makan…jeno makhon…I am leading a strange deconstructed life…how do I feel? Numb? Maybe. Busy? Yes. Angry? Definitely. Feel good? Hmm. Suffering from Diaspora? Maybe…Seems like the evolution of Indian Cinema: kisan (numb), labour (busy), angry young man like Bachchan (angry), hum apke hain kaun and other happy endings(feel good), Pardes and the Desi Generation PREJUDICED BLUES (Diaspora)…

Today should be and it is, I believe, the happiest day of my life…pay attention, I am NOT being sarcastic…I mean exactly what I say…I will always be a WORD WOMAN, true to it, better than a BIRD WOMAN…

So now here’s the story…My paper mash romance has merely ossified to a nondescript tea stall…pretty English, I must say…We had a pretty interesting time together, and thanks for the tea and liberation…Cafe philosopher, how long will you think until you have convinced every damn being in this world??? You better sit back and think again…

For I will be busy being my MOSTLY HARMLESS self (too many puns intended…please do your homework, readers!)

I wish all my luck to my best friend in this whole city…cos I no more need luck…I am better without it now…I truly wish from deep inside, he finds his way into her heart…after all, he was NOT harmful to her at least…with that, I just hope, as a side wish, he understand that it sometimes hurts when u try to be loyal and mostly loved by everyone at the same time…that he too is flawed…like anyone else…only that he masks it well…which is appreciable but yet revealed through unknown cul-de-sacs…

So now all that is to be done is to be a desolate Casanova sweeping stuff out of desolation row…I will blow it all up…but hey, not the way you think…it would be MOSTLY HARMLESS…lol…I even have the wit to laugh…but it’s only obvious, isn’t it??? It’s a good thing what has come off me…NEVER MARRY A MAN WHO LIES…the thing is, there’s not a single creative one who doesn’t…hence, my celibate life…cheers celibacy!

Sometimes the good things in life are good because they are brief…Sometimes you can see the future of something right away…that is, there’s no future. This moment and this moment alone is its past, present and future…and to see the three all as one is not a common incidence…such rare coincidence can be revered upon only…

The hands kited with the air resistance of the locomotive engine…celebrating life, the journey and the flight at their oddest hour…almost like the Life of Pi…in its most obscure and figurative sense…

OHBLOODY…OHBLAHDA…

The Beatles is GOD…you only listen to them when you are in trouble. Otherwise you are busy listening to intellectually legitimate but morally invalid ones…and you can take it in any angle that suits you..nevah maayind…

Today I spent most of my time contemplating to buy tickets, standing in queues and…well…buying them after all…for cinema, theatre and travel…tickets are an important part of post-modern life. They have an almost directly proportional relationship between planning something and actually doing it…

Kaalpurush was pretty interesting…starring Bijan Sen Sharma as Bijan himself…a corrupt clerk who gets promoted leaving the honest Rahul Bose aside…well I apologize mentioning about the most insignificant character in the whole film…what can I say, the techniques of Soviet wide shots are getting evident in my thought processes and hence my writing style…

Can’t think of a name…

I miss being in Dhaka now. What am I doing here, anyway? Yes, yes, to start a new life…to mend the pieces of a not-at-all-broken relationship…blah blah and so much more…what am I supposed to do now? What’s the use of building castles in the air, feeling pseudo-important for the pseudo-potentials I may possess? Am I an exceptional writer? No. Am I a great artist? No. Am I a wonderful poet? No. I only write some stupid monologues, even if they are thousand times better than the ones written by Sourav (see Theatron X later), but lousy nonetheless…

Had been to Khardah in the afternoon…A wonderful play just started when it started to rain really hard…and the same hailstorm that I saw at about this time of the year in Canberra last year…My life is becoming a metaphorical intellectual montage…thanks to Eisenstein…I call it serendipity…though this has nothing to do with Battleship Potemkin’s “assaulted workers=slaughtered bull”…but somehow it’s got to be real life montage…

The good thing about small places is the familiarity among people…and the bicycles…small places almost always have bicycles…and your first crush’s house is always a stone throw away, and the woman of the house can be seen cooking through the window of the kitchen…and people know the local train schedules by heart…there’s a sweetness in the ladies who are in love…and a warmth in the hearts of the men in love…and yes, they do good theatre…it’s a breath of fresh air after you have been suffocated with the awfully written script of Theatron X.

YES…THEATRON X SUCKS…I am happy to say this out aloud…bad script, bad scriptwriter, bad direction, bad actors…and hence bad theatre…there’s nothing unique about this group and there’s nothing to learn from them except the lesson that never do bad theatre! It’s bad for your theatrical health…
